Concept studies developed in-line with pre-application negotiations and planning application for the re-development of a derelict urban corner plot to become a small, contemporary family home.

A previous developer turned white label music producer approached us to explore, through detailed discussions with the design officers at the local authority, the opportunity for building a small, 2 bedroom family home on a disused site in suburban North London. The finalised and agreed concept had to fulfil extraneous design criteria in order to convince the planners of the benefits of the scheme within the existing context.
